There are two ways to install LinkPatrol – by uploading the .zip file you received directly from WordPress dashboard or by extracting the .zip file and uploading it using an FTP client.

Uploading the .zip file from WordPress dashboard

• In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload
• Click Choose File
• Locate linkpatrol.zip on your hard drive
• Click Install Now
• Click Activate Plugin to activate LinkPatrol

Uploading plugin using an FTP client

• Extract the linkpatrol.zip archive
• With your FTP client, upload the unzipped plugin folder (linkpatrol) to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory on your server
• Go to Plugins screen and find LinkPatrol in the list
• Click Activate to activate it
